About
The Horse & Groom is renowned for its locally sourced produce, homemade and quality fresh food. And of course the famous Sausage menu!
A Grade II listed property of local limestone beneath a thatched roof, dating back from the early 18th century makes the Horse and Groom the epitome of a classic English country pub.
The Horse & Groom remains a popular destination for real ale. White Horse ale is a resident at the Horse & Groom, starring next to three guest ales from all over the UK, which change weekly (or sometimes within a few days dependent on how popular they are with the locals!).
The dining areas are cosy and intimate with a capacity up to 26 in the dining room and 14 in and around the bar area. Chef Owner Jerome has over 20 years experience in the industry, and creates a weekly menu using locally-sourced produce. Jerome also creates dishes to suit all dietary requirements.
A good-sized beer garden to the front of the pub is perfect for a summer’s day, and ample parking can be found opposite.
Well-behaved children are welcome, and dogs are welcome in the beer garden.
